From January 8, 2025, holders of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passports/British National (Overseas) passports will need to apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) when entering or transiting through the UK. However, holders of BNO visas, including work and study visas, will be exempt from this requirement.
